Our Services
Developing Your Own Home
Like most everyone, you probably dream of living on your own or with friends. CPES can assist you or a family member achieve that dream. We offer residential support in two distinct types of settings: Community living arrangements, also called group homes and individually designed living arrangements.
A group home typically provides residence for three or four individuals. These individuals and their family members have great input into all aspects of home life-from daily routine to meal preferences to furnishings. Our para-professional staff is available and on-site as needed to help residents and their families adjust to and enjoy their residential experience. Group homes are rigorously evaluated by the State of Arizona for health and safety licensing compliance. CPES group homes have consistently ranked among the top settings for licensing compliance since our inception in 1980.
Individually designed living arrangements are different from group homes in that these residences are developed and maintained by the residents themselves, with the support of the CPES staff. As a result, they tend to be smaller (3 or fewer housemates) and more personalized for each housemate's needs and interests. Residents have significant control and more responsibility for daily home management activities.
