PROGRAM MISSION:
To Provide Quality support to resource families and children/adults in foster care and/or awaiting adoption, and to facilitate the timely, supportive and informative licensure and/or certifications of resource families.
PROGRAM VISION:
We envision a wealth of available resource families that have been properly educated to make important decisions which will impact their lives, and the lives of the children and/or adults that they may care for, and whom feel supported and assisted throughout the licensure/certification process.
Foster Care Homes are needed for:
- Children
- Sibling Groups
- Infants & Toddlers
- Teenagers
- Children & Adults with Developmental Disabilities
Requirements include:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- May be single, married, or co-habituating
- Be financially stable
- Submit a Physician's statement
- Provide five personal references
- Everyone 18+ in the household must be able to attain a Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Complete a 30 hour pre-service training
- Be able to pass a Life-Safety Home Inspection
